March already! How did that happen?
Seems I blinked and missed Jan and Feb and time has been flying by. We've been very busy prepping for a few exhibitions with my paintings...sorting out headstuff and welcoming new arrivals..its been a rush but I am finally happy to say weve all made it through in one peace..oops..peice.

Some updates:
- The twins are doing fabulously...Molly has booted Pete out of their shared space so she can find a mate, and he has been an occasional night visitor as he laments his new bachelorhood and finds himself a new home.
- Merci is absolutely humungous and will be released in a week or two..I will try so snap a pic of him before he goes...he's getting all ansy and  its definately time to go to grow.
- Remy has moved into his new home very well..no reports yet of return visits.
- DukDuk has been laying on and of now for a month and has settled in really well..I am sure she thinks she is a dog as she chases the pigeons around and hisses like a cat...but come afternoon tea  she bounds up waiting for her endives wagging her tail..its hysteritcal... She is a joy..part of the family now..it brings a sense of peace to me to watch her grazing.

We have 3 new possums in care now..Angel, 170gms, Bill, 190gms and Beth 300gms. They all arrived together and have settled in nicely now feeding times are sorted and cages claimed...those first few days of resettlign are always a nightmare..but a funny one.

I also have the joy of looking after a baby pacific black duck...we've made a little run for her and she is in duck heaven..exploring for the first time a full swim pond and lettuces...as soon as she has her green feathers, she will be going to the local lake...I love it that she is enjoying her new space..makes  me feel very good inside. After fiddling about with a cage to put her in for nights..and chopping up a tarp for rain cover etc..my housemate poped his head out and said " why dont you just put her in the old dog house..the dog doesnt use it.' like..duh...lol...pitty he couldnt have said it an hour earlier..still its now full of straw and she loves it!

We also have a raven in called Bob :/ lol...who is currenly as I type, out in the back yard learning to be a raven again...bounding around taking run ups.. he is such a giggle..a bit underweight so will be feeding him lots of protien for a few days..but I hope he will join the local flock within the week.

So ..its a full house here now...and Im loving it....so glad I fell in love with that first possum..and very grateful to be able to help out in this small way.
