Will didn't make it through last night. I was able to bring him home yesterday from the vet, and he had a small feed and his medication. I wrapped him up next to his teddy and cuddled him for most of the evening, he stopped taking fluids around midnight and he died during the night while I was dozing. I feel sad but as I said to a friend, he died warm, safe, fed and his mum's already in animal heaven waiting for him....put into perspective, thats more than millions of children have in this world...and I am just glad he was able to come home and not die alone in a vet clinic.
It was almost certainly poisoning, though his feet suggest it did trigger SPS ( swollen paw). I will take his little body back to the vet for autposy today and hopefully some good will coem out of it as if we can pin down th toxin and any bugs he had we might be able to share that knowledge with NSW vets who are also seeing a number of SPS cases in Brushy's at present.

Damn :(

Tonight is the opening of our art exhibition..but all i feel like doing is sitting home and painitng a picture for Will.
