I cant believe it has been so long since I updated this site!
I have been very busy building the new BADGAR Hobsons Bay webpages and I'm finally finished!

You can take a sneak peek before the launch here:

This month I have been on several pick ups - one of which was a beautiful adult Nankeen Kestral, through which I had the pleasure of meeting senior vet staff at Melborne Zoo.

I lost an adult male possum who was hit by  a car which was very sad and I have mourned and buried Aria and Ariel under pansys and whiteflower.

Its been a very busy time..though different to this time last year. We at BADGAR HB are gearing up for a major press run and community programs so I have been dealing more and more with people than possies. Its is very notable that since the heatwave fewer possums are requiring care. We lost so many.

My formal registration came through from the DSE and I am linked now to a lovely lady called Dawn who runs the new Werribee Shelter. Together I think we are the best stocked carers in the area!

Ive also changed the lay out of my website and hope you like it!

Though I dont usualy take them for moral and emotional reasons..I do have a little seagull chick here at the moment, who I have called Georgina.

She is here only because I know she would die with out care. My position on 'no birds in cages' remains a focal point for me emotionally and politically.

So here she is..she has the most gorgeous little bark.
