Weigh day today...
Molly: 155gms thats +18gms
Pete: 157gms thats + 28gms
...and the twins are going well...Ive been crook with but have managed to keep the routine going..its been kind of comforting. Molly is such a beastie...very fast and lots of personality and curiosity...Pete is slower..lazy almost...but enjoys his run round at nights. They've already been having nibbles of watermelon and banana and its been very funny to watch...just like with human child, you give them a taste of each new flavour then a rest..and introduce each new fruit one by one that way so when they do start full solids, they arent put off the good stuff.
I took both of them for a walk outside the other night while I was picking some bottle brush....it was absolutely magic..they both looked up at the sky for the first time and I swear it was palpable the sense of 'wow' and a bit of 'woah' that I got from both of them.
Double trouble indeed....these guys will most certainly give me a run for my money the more they grow.

I've put Cole in a 3rd stage cage and have started feeding her 'blind'..by that I mean she never see's me feed her or leaving food for her. I am doing this to try and limit her humanisation..and so hopefully she and a little male I wrote about last week will be able to be released back into the wild locally. This blind feeding will help rehabilitation efforts later on. It is cute tho to only see her peeking..and it is hard to not peek or handle her much...but to hear her scurrying up..nibbling away and running off..its good...means she is settling and growing.
