Late last night, well, early this morning really, Scully let go.
She was ok at her 10pm but by 1am she had gone.
I had a bit of a cry but then realised that she'd gone warm, fed, loved and safe...so she went peacefully.
So many things can go wrong with pinkies..thats why most vets just euthanase them straight away, their little kidneys don't tolerate the changes in diet, brain damage, exposure etc..
It's a bummer..not unexpected but sad.
Just want to thank the Great Spirit for letting me nurse her and provide that warm safe place for as long as I did.
I've learnt a lot, and been amazed and excited...and well..you know...some days are good days and some growing ones.

Thanks for everyone who's emailed and supported us over the last 24.
I painted a picture yesterday as I was waiting for her feed...and its going to be hung today as a good reminder of the gift to us she was.

^oo^
