Beautiful Boo the Boobook owl was released tonight in a special location.
I have many mixed feelings...I am happy this little trooper has recovered so well and that he is free and gone..I'm worried about his survival given how much human contact he has had recently....and sad too..that the experience of him is over..its something I go through a lot caring for little ones..but somehow Boo made an impact all of his own.
Will miss you Boo...i hope the owl angels find you lots of squiggly rodents to eat.

Boo tonight...just out of the box..his eye is all healed up..he was eager and raring to go.



Doing a bit of preflight checking and readying to go...moments later I tossed him up and he was away.



I think tonights compounded with the fact little Gigi has also gone tonight back to Gundagai.
I hope she travells well and arrives safely to her new home with the lovely  Rebbecca
