Sadly little Aria didnt make it through the night.
She stopped feeding yesteerday afternoon and died peacefully close to my skin.
I take solace in that she was warm and fed and not hounded.

I have discovered that unless these little ones have some rudimentry brown pigment on their skin, their immune systems dont seem to be functioning. Our milk and the adjustment to external immune supports like Impact etc..can help but arent the same and the adjustment period to the milk can be too long to get passd any trauma associated with their parents death.. In Aria's case, her little tummy just couldnt make the transition to the new milk.
I hope she is with her mum now.
I'm sad...so tiny.
